Diabetes Education Program
Devoted to improving the quality of life for persons with diabetes, the staff of the Diabetes Education Program trains patients in diabetes self-managemnt, including meal planning, medication monitoring, exercise precautions and stress management. Approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the American Diabetes Association, the comprehensive program is offered by full time certified diabetes educators. Physician referral can enroll patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
