Home Health Services
Home health care is a unique nursing specialty which aids in the
transition from a hospital environment to a home setting. Patients
enjoy the comforts of their own home and live in a way which is
as close to their normal routine as possible.
Home Health Services brings a variety of programs into the home
on a part-time basis for the purpose of caring for the acutely
ill or convalescing patient to restore health and independent
functioning. Home health care is an effective and less expensive
means of providing health care to those who do not need 24 hour
a day supervision. With Home Health Services,
the patient remains at home with his or her family and loved ones,
enjoying a way of life as closely related to normal as possible.
Moses Taylor now brings the same professional, compassionate care that our inpatient and outpatients receive into your home. We provide clinical and social work services to residents in Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike, Monroe, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties. Our home health staff is made up of registered nurses, certified aids, occupational, physical and speech therapists, and medical social workers. Many of the same services you would normally receive in the hospital now can be administered at home, like IV therapy, wound, ostomy and catheter care, and numerous other therapies.
