The Moses Taylor HealthInfo Library, the first of its kind in Lackawanna county, is dedicated to helping the public obtain answers to health questions. The library provides a wide range of non-technical health and wellness information. The library and its services are free to the public thanks to the fund raising efforts of the Moses Taylor Foundation. Material can be borrowed and if you can't come to the library, material can be mailed to your home.

Health books and magazines for the lay person
Videos and audiotapes with private area for viewing and listening
Internet access to health related World Wide Web sites
CD-Rom computer programs
Hundreds of free pamphlets

The library's staff is available to locate materials and all requests are held in strict confidence. Patrons may borrow material by filling out a registration card. Photocopies of information from library material can be made at no charge.

The HealthInfo Library was honored with a 1998 PO-NE Award, Health Care Category, by the Pocono Northeast Development Fund and the Pocono Northeast Community Award Program in cooperation with the Economic Development Council of NE PA for its inovation in healthcare education in the community.
