With an emphasis on compassionate, personalized care, Moses Taylor
Hospital's Outpatient Hematology-Oncology Unit delivers comprehensive
specialty care to patients throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Each member of our staff has been chosen for their expertise in
hematology-oncology care, as well as their ability to nurture
and support our patients and their families.
Specific Treatment and diagnostic Services affered by the Hematology-Oncology
Unit include:
- Chemotherapy administration
- Transfusion of blood and blood products
- therapeutic phlebotomies
- Intravenous iron therapy
- Care of central venous parts and catheters
- Intravenous antibody therapy
- Epogen/Procrit therapy
- Administration of intravenous senicode, steroids, antibodies
- Pastoral Care
- Nutritional counseling
