Moses Taylor's HealthInfo Library is a community resource filled with information you can use to understand all aspects of health. From healthy eating to disease management to safety issues, the HealthInfo Library provides educational materials free of charge to the public. Located in the main lobby of Moses Taylor Hospital, library access is easy for patients, families or visitors looking for information on health topics.


The HealthInfo Library has a collection of more than 700 non-technical books on health topics.

The library has comfortable seating for kids and adults to sit and read while away from the hi-tech hospital environment


You will find audio tapes and video tapes to watch, pamphlets to take home, newsletters to read about numerous diseases, treatments and other health topics.

The HealthInfo Library children's collection has books and videos on many health topics to help kids cope with their own diseases or those of loved ones.


Computers are available in the library to search for medical information on thousands of health web sites through the Internet

Library users can be assured of privacy in this area used to view videotapes or to listen to audio tapes.


Contributions by authors and library supporters through the Moses Taylor Foundation fill the shelves with the latest in health information at the Moses Taylor HealthInfo Library.

 

Since opening its doors on May 5, 1998, the HealthInfo Library has received awards from the Pocono Northeast Development Fund and the Pennsylvania Health Educator Institute, a testament to its commitment to public education in health and wellness.
